My house is haunted.

You fear the chance of you living with a ghost when you often misplace stuff in your house and you don’t recall the last time you handled it.

Well, for me, it was my food and I’d say, they vanish from my house because I don’t find them anywhere else. Sometimes, it would be half eating ; wait, is the ghost not hungry enough? Who are they leaving this for?

I prayed, fasted, did rituals but my food kept on getting missing. Then I mounted CCTV cameras aroundthe house. I waited for a week before I checked the cameras and oh, you will laugh if I tell you what I saw.

Mice had been eating my food, never seen a mouse that spreads butter on bread, pours juice and drinks it with bread. And they even left me a note, “we prefer banana bread to butter bread”.

I changed the bread for them, everyone deserves love and care. I named them G-Unit a.k.a Ghost Unit.

His stare caused a panic.

Early morning hunger took me to the roadside to get millet pudding (ayuo koko), I wasn’t in my normal model mood so I was brisk walking because I wanted to get home and break my fast from the last night, and that was when I met him in my lane. Normally he’s supposed to run when he sees you, but this time, he had staggered and had this stern look. At that point, I knew I couldn’t apply the usual panic tactic to get him out of the way so applied wisdom, also his stare caused a panic.

That is how I knelt and begged this Buck (male goat, a.k.a uncle Billy) to get out of my way. After apologizing he gave out a soft bleat and moved slowly from the path.

Even goats are demanding respect now. The world should end already please.😭😭
